Why Omnive exists
The short version of why this non-profit exists and what we're working on first.
Most robotics research stays in the lab because shipping it into the real world is unglamorous work — deployment, maintenance, and support that papers don't reward.
Omnive exists to do that unglamorous part anyway: take applied robotics and software research and get it into the hands of people who need it, in the open, starting with a small set of field pilots.
This blog will track what we build, what breaks, and what we learn from partners along the way.
